In Shock| Cyril Ramaphosa's birthday is TODAY but mzansi will celebrate Mandela's birthday (OPINION)

Cyril Ramaphosa is currently the president of South africa. He is doing everything in his power to serve the people but people do not show much appreciation.

Matamela Cyril Ramaphosa is a South African businessman and politician who serves as the fifth president of South Africa since 2018 and president of the African National Congress since 2017

i could be wronv and I stand to be corrected, I have never heard people celebrate Cyril Ramaphosa's birthday the way people Celebrate Mandela. It seems to me that a dead person is more important that the one who is still alive.

As someone who serves the Nation, I think Ramaphosa deserves his share to have his birthday celebrated. We will always celebrate 18 July even though Mandela has long passed away.

What's your take on this matter? Do you think it is fair for South Africans to keep celebrating the birthday of someone who passed away and forget about the current president of the nation. Please drop your comments below.
