CAPE TOWN - The African National Congress (ANC) said that occupants in Cape Town merited better and that the party could convey.
The party was crusading to win back the City of Cape Town after last having involved the chairman's office in 2006.
ANC financial officer general Paul Mashatile on Thursday went house to house in Mfuleni, Delft, Mitchells Plain and Atlantis.
Mashatile has guaranteed work creation, lodging and the arrangement of streets, water and power were only a portion of the errands high on the party's plan.
"So the ANC, when it comes into power, it will focus on foundation so that individuals improve supply of water, power yet additionally, in a portion of these spaces, individuals are as yet living in shacks," Mashatile noted.
He said that the ANC would along these lines focus on building RDP houses for destitute individuals.
"We are giving individuals trust that tomorrow will be superior to yesterday, when the ANC comes into power," Mashatile said.
Mashatile said that the reaction from Capetonians had been empowering.
