South Africa seem to be the land of milk and honey for many Africans. It is America in Africa. But unfortunately, the economy is going down and everything looks gloom and doom and there is no future for foreign nationals in this country. The ANC led government is under pressure from nationalist, calling for it to put South Africans first and some politicians are using those sentiments in their bid trying to remove ANC. So, ANC being pressured by Put South Africans brigade, granting foreign nationals a permanent will affect it when it comes to elections. So, giving foreign nationals a permanent resident is suicidal.
About 250, 000 Zimbabweans have asked the High Court to declare them permanent SA residents. This follows the expiry of their Zimbabwe Exemption Permits. They’re asking the court to direct the Minister of Home Affairs to issue them with SA ID documents. #DStv403 #eNCA
South Africa seem to be their beacon of hope. Zimbabwe's economy is on the path of recovery but it is growing slowly. The country is suffering from sanctions that were imposed on following Mugabe's land grab policy.
