Namibia’s Youngest Member of Parliament

Namibia has Patience Masua as one of its member of parliament. The 22 year old has her fair share of experience in public offices.

MP Masua is also an activist for the youth and education advocate.

Her past experience includes serving as Secretary General of Namibia National Students Organisation (NANSO) as she also served as Speaker of Student Parliament of the UNAM SRC.

She also holds a qualification as she completed a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) which she obtained from the University of Namibia (UNAM).

Besides being a member of parliament in the Namibian parliament, she is also Namibian Country Director of the Southern Africa Youth Forum (SAYOF).

She has said that she is not the type of person to sing for her supper and has not allowed politics to dissolve her.

Much like in Namibia, South Africa has also seen a great number of youth being made members of parliament as people understand that the future rests with the youth.
