Many African states are quick to claim responsibility for the success of South Africa today without evidence to back up their claims. We often hear citizens of other African nations bragging of how their assisted South Africa during apartheid regime.
These Immigrants often cite this as the major reason why South Africa should allow them in the country whether legal or illegal. This is still a serious bone of contention between foreign nationals and local citizens of South Africa.
The young man claimed that foreigners from Mozambique, Malawi, Zimbabwe, Zambia, Angola, Swazi Basotho built South Africa from scratch even before some young men agitating against Illegal immigrants were born.
Darrell urged young South African people to also trace back history before taking action against immigrants in their country.
In his words, he said;
"Before you were even born foreigners were in South Africa. Foreigners built South Africa by working in mines and shafts? Mozambiqueans Malawians Zambians Zimbabweans Angolans Swazis Basothos built South Africa from scratch. Before posting things on social media please trace your roots first?".
