The mayoral member by the name of Belinda encheozonjoku with the surname which is foreign and suspected to be of Nigerian caused anger online, the party which appointed her was accused of appointing foreigners in positions of leadership which is something that they feel is disrepute to the authority of the country. However meanwhile the decision made a lot of South Africans online angry and there were allegations that the person appointed is actually not a foreigner but someone who is married to a Nigerian foreigner.
