"Mogoeng will advocate for border-less Africa ", Mzansi reacts to the former CJ becoming president

"I like Mogoeng Mogoeng, he has strong leadership qualities but my problem is that there’s an excessive use of the term ‘African’ in this would-be movement and that doesn’t sit well with me. He will advocate for that ‘border less Africa’ and unity narrative and that is not what we WANT". This is one of the comments from South Africans as news about former Chief Justice, Mogoeng Mogoeng running for president make rounds. According to reports, Mogoeng was approached and requested to contest for President in the 2024 National Elections as an independent candidate.

For some, the idea of the former CJ becoming president is just not it. Mogoeng Mogoeng doesn’t have a history of advocacy. We don’t need a president who’s going to tell us the Bible is incontrovertible. If anything this country needs to be rid of churches just as it needs to be rid of ANC.

Here is how Mzansi has reacted to Mogoeng Mogoeng becoming president:

@Marceline So mogoeng mogoeng was the chief justice for 10 to 11 years and so many criminals have had their way. So many politicians circumvented from going to prison, yet he was the one controlling the higher court and he expects us to believe he will be a good president?

@PrinceNtuli7 Chief Justice Mogoeng Mogoeng is running as an independent candidate for 2024 national elections. Now South Africans have no excuse not to vote come 2024. I'm voting ActionSA come 2024 but I won't lie, I'm also having my eyes on Patriotic Alliance and Mogoeng Mogoeng as well.

@MrMoralle Mogoeng Mogoeng is too much of a Christian to really fix the issues in this country, one of which would actually require him to take a strong hold on immigration. I really see him letting people stay in the country and situation getting worse.

In my opinion, Mogoeng Mogoeng is not the right candidate for the presidential position. This man decided to resign when the country needed him to save and defend our constitution. What make us think he will defend our country when we needs him. Once a quitter always one! All he did was to tell us “there’s an attempt to capture the judiciary” then folded his hands while it was happening. And even ran away when it got hard. He must retire in peace. July unrest happened because he has no back bone. His deputy basically sent him home. What are your thoughts?
