"Thieves" Dali Mpofu Fires Shots At ANC Bigwigs

Economic Freedom Fighters former chairperson, and advocate Dali Mpofu has fired shots at ANC heavyweights in the Eastern Cape.

Oscar Mabuyane who recently got re-elected as the provincial chairperson is facing allegations of corruption after he allegedly stole money which was meant for Mandela's memorial. His case was supposed to be investigated further, but Mabuyane allegedly told hawks to halt the investigations and the case seem not to have seen the light.

President Cyril Ramaphosa who poses himself as a person who is driving the new dawn and vowed to flush out corrupt tendencies, however backed Oscar Mabuyane regardless of the corruption allegations hanging over his head.

Ramaphosa even told Oscar Mabuyane "usebenzile" while congratulating him for winning a second term. This shows a moral decadency on the part of the president as well as his comrades. Pushing for a new dawn, but excited when comrades with questionable reputation are elected into positions of power.

Eastern Cape is one province which has been ravaged by corruption, and the people in the province will have to suffer for more years after Oscar Mabuyane was re-elected.

His opponent, Babalo Madikizela who lost with a little over 100 votes was touted by some Eastern Cape residents as a breathe of fresh air, unfortunately he could not win against a CR backed Oscar Mabuyane.

Dali Mpofu however argue that it is fundamental to note that a constituency which voted for Babalo Madikizela is bigger than North West, Northern Cape and Western Cape combined signifying that Mabuyane's win is nothing to celebrate as he was only nominated to control ANC's coffers.

Mpofu referred to Oscar Mabuyane as a thief who should not be celebrated for winning again as the provincial chairperson.

"Perspective is important. The block which voted for Babalo’s faction is bigger than Western Cape, Northern Cape and North West combined!

A victory by a difference by 100 votes for incumbents who control the party and state coffers is nothing to celebrate.Thieves! #UmdudoWamasela," Dali Mpofu said.
