The former DA member and Johannesburg Mayor Mr Herman Mashaba used his Twitter channel to share what had happened to the Eldorado Park swimming pool. He revealed how the pool had been neglected by the ANC-led government.
He would add that children needed recreational facilities. What he got from the members of the public was mind-blowing .
Look at the Twitter responses that he got from the people :
Recreational facilities will surely not put food on the tables of the Johannesburg residents. The people of Johannesburg are in need of a political party that will create employment for the people. The rate of unemployment is worrying as the majority of the youths do not have jobs. The people, therefore, need a government that will come up with solutions to end unemployment.
Which party do you think has that potential? The ANC-led government has failed dismally in that part, but do you think it needs another chance? Do you think a new party or an opposition can come into power and offer job opportunities?
The people of South Africa are in need of a government that will ensure that there is good deliverance of basic services such as electricity and water. South Africa is currently undergoing a series of load-shedding. Every day and every hour there are members of the community who will be out of electricity for different reasons. Water shortages are some of the challenges that people are facing .
It is funny how Mr Mashaba could focus on recreational activities instead of highlighting his party´s plans to eradicate load shedding and water shortages. South African residents are in need of a party that will handle challenges such as water shortages and electricity outages.
The question that remains to be answered is which political party will help deliver what is already missing ? Is it the ANC , EFF , DA , Inkatha Freedom Part, or the ordinary members of the public?
