Deputy president David Mabuza says he will run again for deputy president next year

It is really getting heated in the ANC camp as we are now heading to elections. We know that on the first of November people will be voting for the local government elections. This elections will be followed by the national elections.

We know already that the son of the former president Jacob Zuma will be contesting to be the president for the ANC and he is quite adamant that he will be the next president of South Africa, beating Cyril Ramaphosa. We alsobknow know that the deputy president David Mabuza is now planning to contest again for the deputy president in the upcoming national elections.

Deputy Mabuza as a deputy president has been invisible. Whenever he is mostly needed, he is nowhete to be found. When the country was in the third wave of the pandemic, Mabuza left the country and go to Russian for medical check up for which he was highly criticized for. Some where even saying that it means that he does not trust the health system that we have in South Africa and that shows disrespect on his side. Even Julius Malema said that David Mabuza is not interested in his job anymore and he is not man enough to tell South Africans that he no longer wants to serve them.

The fact that the deputy president is now showing interest of becoming the deputy president of South Africa again, really comes as a shock for many people. We know that at some stage, there was rumours that the president might be looking to have a deputy president as a woman and this might have not been well received by the deputy president.

David Mabuza is really not convincing as a deputy president. He is not reliable. He might just decide to rule the country while he is in Russia. We will be forever asking where he is. He will be a president that is missing in action, and with the problems that we face in the country, we can not afford that.
