EFF leader applauds Fortune Charumbira's election as Pan African Parliament president. The EFF stated this represents a paradigm shift in PAP politics in Southern Africa because only West and Eastern Africans have led. Last year, the Pan African Parliament was in pandemonium because French-speaking African countries refused to let Southern Africa lead. ANC's Pemmy Majodina was chosen interim chair of the Pan-African Parliament's Southern Region Caucus. EFF president and Pan African Parliament member says SADC supports Fortune Charumbira based on his experience. He adds EU can withdraw funds if unhappy with the result.
