Council Pleads With Government To Delay Major Event

A post has been circulating on the social media platform Facebook which serves the purpose of informing the public about the daily news happening both locally and globally all over the world.

CAPE TOWN - The specially appointed council to start and present enactment altering Section 25 of the Constitution to expressly take into account land confiscation without remuneration needs an additional 30 days to complete its work.

The advisory group's cutoff time to think of a report on the revision to be submitted to Parliament was on Monday.

MPs made plans to demand from the National Assembly an expansion of 30 days with the goal for it to finish its work on the phrasing of the corrections that will see the seizure of land without pay inserted in the Constitution.

Board of trustees director Mathole Motshekga said they must be done inside that 30 days.

"Indeed, even the 30 days we are mentioning is actually a solicitation and one couldn't say a nonsensical solicitation, so we shouldn't extend it excessively far or past the 30 days".
