Economic Freedom Fighters councilors wrecked the Tshwane board room in order to disrupt the city's spending plan discussion, causing chaos in Tshwane.
The EFF councilors did so in order to request the hiring of personnel from specialized organizations. Following the destruction of a number of items within the chambers, the EFF left the mess for civil specialists and individual councilors to clean up.
Social experts criticized the Democratic Alliance for cooperating with the EFF in the administration of Tshwane, citing the fact that they have known for a long time that the EFF resorts to violence when their demands are not satisfied.
"Regardless of your position or condition in life, if you are raised to break the law, you will continue to do so regardless of the color of your skin or your social standing.
How could they be allowed to be complicit in our political arena? Where might the safety be? Will they be deemed accountable?" Some inquired.
Those that find nothing wrong with the EFF's approach to specific issues, particularly when they are requesting something, have stated that their requests are valid because ANC allies have been taking advantage of corrupt tenders.
"Their interest is justified, but their manner is unorthodox. "The bidders should calm down, ANC members in particular," they stated.
"Your concern is property damage, not the double-dealing of unhappy professionals; what's so difficult about acquiring them?" Shots were fired at the Democratic Alliance member of parliament who complained about EFF councilors destroying property in Tshwane board chambers.
Financial Freedom Fighters members are nonetheless interested in what their leaders are doing in Tshwane.
They argue that their approach is "If specialists don't eat, then nobody should have destroyed the dinner table."
