Ace Magashule, the ANC's suspended secretary general, was recently chastised by the ANC's Free State Interim Provincial Committee for attending a Freedom Charter Day ceremony held by the Economic Freedom Fighters.
They argue that such behavior is only permitted with the company's express permission. However, the ANC's Free State IPC maintains that Ace Magashule should not have celebrated Freedom Charter Day with the EFF because of his suspension.
Even though the ANC has suspended Ace Magashule, his detractors claim the organization is still trying to keep him in a box because of his membership in the party. The statement by the IPC of the ANC in Free State was also met with criticism.
Even if he is now suspended, he is nonetheless held to the same standards of conduct and adherence to organizational principles as all other members.
The ANC Interim Provincial Committee released a statement strongly denouncing such reckless behavior and urging all members in the province to steer clear of it.
The RET forces are upset by the ANC IPC's assertion that Magashule attended the event in his individual capacity and did not represent the ANC in any official capacity or persuade any ANC members to join him.
The SG is not to blame if the ANC has abandoned its historical objective because the EFF never drafted the Freedom Charter. He went there specifically for this purpose. As a result, they shouldn't play in front of an audience. Apparently they don't give a hoot about what goes on at Phala Phala Farm. Inquiries came from a few.
The CR group is obviously wrong because they don't want Ace Magashule to attend ANC gatherings and are now angry because he attended EFF events. My chest is hurting really bad right now.
Ace Magashule's backers said they don't see any problem with him marking a historical occasion on his own when the ANC didn't. Magashule has been silent about whether or not he participated in Freedom Charter Day, which was organized by EFF.
