The presidency released a statement in which they said that Lindiwe Sisulu has agreed to apologise for the article she recently published .
In the article Lindiwe Sisulu was attacking the judiciary and the constitution of the republic of South Africa as a whole .
The statement from the presidency reads that President Cyril Ramaphosa met with Sisulu, in Cape Town earlier this week where he "admonished" her about the article. According to the Presidency, Minister Sisulu conceded that her words were "inappropriate".
However there is a statement which is doing round which Minister Lindiwe Sisulu has distanced herself from the statement issued by the embattled Presidency. Sisulu statement suggests that she did meet with President Ramaphosa but didn't retract .
It is clear that President Cyril Ramaphosa will be left with no option but to remove Sisulu from his cabinet. It has also being widely reported that Sisulu is likely going to contest President Cyril Ramaphosa in the elective conference that is going to held later this year .
