The ANC is the most widely accepted party in South African politics but the party is still struggling with reports of its leaders delivering bad services to the people. Poor service delivery is gradually destroying the party.
The ANC has tried its possible best to solve most of the problems of South Africa but the party is lacking in some parts as it fails to identify major problems within the party that should have been addressed.
Below are the three problems I feel are destroying the ANC that needs to be addressed before next year.
1. Lack of party supervision.
I have not heard reports of the ANC going around south Africa and inspecting the works of their elected leaders and if they are doing so, the party needs to get more serious with it.
2. Poor service delivery.
Many South Africans have complained severally that the ANC has neglected some of its supporters and has failed to deliver some of its campaign promises to the people. Many regions under the leadership of ANC is still suffering from the issue of bad road, poor water support, and poor electricity which shouldn't have been so. ANC leaders need to step up their efforts in delivering good service to the people of South Africa.
Corruption is also another issue destroying the ANC. The issue of corruption has destroyed the reputation of ANC with top leaders like Ace Magashule being suspended for corruption charges.
The best way to solve the issues that are destroying the party is for the ANC leaders to get more serious. The issue of surprising the projects carried out by leaders from the presidency to the lower level should be supervised.
In the case of corruption, the ANC should be quick to expose any politician who is involved in corruption under the party so that he won't tarnish the image of the party.
