Pastors who received huge sums of money that were proceeds of crime

Bulawayo24 made a stunning report of two pastors that are being probed.Its reported two Bishops from Zimbabwe are being investigated by the Zimbabwe Anti-Corruption Commission .This follows allegations that they received huge sums of money that were proceeds of crime.Its reported that they received it as tithe.

Justice Loice Matanda Moyo , who is the Zimbabwe Anti Corruption Commission Chairperson is reported to be the one who made the revelations. She revealed that two Bishops who are from different congregations received proceeds of a crime in the form of tithes.She said that they received an amount of US$100 000.

She added that no inquiry was made as to how an individual could have had a tithe of US$100 000.She highlighted that the churches are guilty as well of corruption for being recipients of such crime proceeds.

The Chairperson added that the other bishop is being investigated for the alleged squandering of money from the schools that are run by his church.She added that the bishops have left damage in mission schools hence investigations are underway.
