President Cyril Ramaphosa previously presented a list of the ANC’s failures and promises at the party’s manifesto launch. Taking to his Twitter account, President Cyril Ramaphosa posted a video and captioned it:”I met Ameen today and spoke to his mother Zuraida who told me about his condition. Our councillors have pledged to be available to our people and give them the support they need to resolve their challenges.”
Tweeps where quick to respond to the tweet. Taking to Twitter, many expressed how they felt. One Tweep said:”Stop using people to get votes. This is shameful. Your actions over the last four years should speak for themselves and they don’t represent what you’ve been campaigning.”
Another Tweep said:”If you Mr President and everyone in public service reached out to the community all year round and served the community as promised we would be very far. But ke, needs of the citizens have fallen on deaf ears.” Tweeps took an opportunity to complain to president ahead of November 1 election. Many expressed that they feel the party only cares when it's time for elections.
