ANC cross fingers for today's judgement or else it's the end.

The African National Congress (ANC) crossed fingers for today's judgement after they've failed to register some of their candidates. By that time, even Independent Electoral Commission (IEC) was not sure if they will host elections or not.

At first independent Electoral Commission wanted elections to be postponed for the next year February 2022 but unfortunately Constitutional Court denied that.

Now Independent Electoral Commission is set to host elections on the 1st of November 2021. Independent Electoral Commission wanted to reopen candidates registration.

The Constitutional Court will on Monday hand down judgment on whether the decision of the Electoral Commission of South Africa (IEC) to reopen the candidate nomination process for the 2021 local government elections was unconstitutional, unlawful and invalid.

This judgement hold life of the African National Congress because if it goes against, it will be the end of ANC since it won't be represented in some Municipalities and wards.
