This comes after they ruled against the acts Mashaba pulled to weed out illegal immigrants during his time as Johannesburg mayor from 2015 - 2018, the High Court dubbed Mashaba and DA's acts as not only being unconstitutional but also violating human rights.
This is a really huge blow to Mashaba and ActionSA because getting rid of illegal immigrants has been the focal point of his manifesto leading up to the coming municipal elections on the 1st of November 2021.
Things are just getting worse for Mashaba as last week the High Court ruled against his favor once again when the court decided to agree with IEC that ActionSA's name won't be on the ballot papers.
So far Mashaba hasn't said much after the High Court made this ruling but it will be really interesting to hear what he says when he finally decides to address the matter.
