Qiniso is a UCT master’s student in social anthropology. Their mother is from a village called Hlathikhulu, in Swaziland. Her father Hugo van Damme was a Belgian national who met her Swazi mother in South Africa and they moved to Belgium, and Phumzile was 10, when they moved to Belgium. Viewers will see her on the second season of The Bachelor SA. Phumzile Van Damme's sister, Qiniso, is one of the ladies competing for The Bachelor SA's heart.
She said, she consulted her sister about the decision to be on the Bachelor SA. She told me that if I was sure that it was what I wanted to do, that I should go ahead and do it.“I am definitely nervous, because my mom and sister may see me making out with Marc. Other than that my family knows me, everything I have been through and the kind of person I am."
