As the protest intensified, there were some reports that King Mswati's eldest daughter Princess Sikhanyiso the minister of ICT has ordered the shutdown of WhatsApp and Facebook in Eswatini while the forces are on a shooting spree!
Palace insiders and diplomats who have met Mswati since the rioting and looting say he does not feel any pressure to resolve the issues that caused the country to flare up. Instead, he has delegated the responsibility to stabilize the country to the new prime minister, Cleopas Dlamini
After days of violence and murder, there are reports that SADC special envoys are on their way to the Kingdom to try and resolve the violence that has engulfed the country.
