When South African parliament was on fire, this became as a shock as to how can such a protected building be on fire and the worst part of it was that a homeless was being accused of it. Zandile Mafe was accused of setting the parliament on fire and it is also believed that there is a footage that shows how Mafe has been able to get through to the building where it could be seen as that security were sleeping in the job.
South African Waterkloof Air base also caught fire and it is not known at this stage what caused the fire. This has really been a bad start to the new year for South Africa because problems keeps on mounting. First it was the parliament, the the constitutional court windows being hammered down and now we have Waterkloof Air base that has also been on fire. This is the year of fire and Andile Mngxitma, 2022 jas just been declared the year of fire and renewal. According to Andile fire purifies and he says that there is on revolution without fire. Even love at it's height is fire.
Air Force Base Waterkloo is an airbase of the South African Air Force. It is situated on the outskirts of Pretoria, and is the SAAF's busiest airbase. The base's name, Waterkloof, is Afrikaans. It means Water Ravine in English.
This is the same airbase that was used to land the Gupta family from Dubai when Jacob Zuma was still the president of the country for which it was highly criticized.
