The councilors are said to be there to thank him for serving the ANC with much dignity. They are heard expressing their displeasure about the current president, Ramaphosa. One ANC member is seen shouting at the top of his lungs from a car. He says the current president will be removed and he also speaks on how Ramaphosa has destroyed the country and 'killed people with COVID'. He says President Zuma on the other hand protected people from HIV, Swine Flu and Ebola and for this he is the best and there will never be none like him.
A bull was then presented to the former President as a token of appreciation. The councilors say they put their salaries together to buy him this bull. Great disappointment was expressed by other members of the party about the speculations of the visit. They said when they go to visit other party stalwarts, no one asks them why they are going there and they say this irritated them.
A few people suggest this visit comes after President Zuma is said have had a great impact on the outcome of the recent elections which saw them keep the eThekwini municipality that they almost lost to the DA.
