Land Expropriation Bill a sham

As MPs line up to vote on the Land Expropriation bill a few questions have to be asked.

Here are some of the questions that should be on every South African's mind:

How ill it be done?

Who stands to benefit?

Who will be in charge of the redistribution?

There will be claims by a few people about the land they bought.

What does the law say about buying stolen goods?

How will we ensure that all South Africans benefit equally?

What does benefiting equally even mean?

What happens to lands under the custodianship of Kings?

How can we trust politicians to keep their word this time seeing that lies and deception come more naturally to them than breathing?

How do we ensure that the right land is given back to the right people?

Who are the rightful owners of the land?

What programs are in place to ensure a smooth transition that will ensure food security is not threated?

Do we have an agricultural programs taking place to ensure that the transition is smooth?

Who is facilitating those programs?

How will do we ensure that finances for those programs are not misappropriated?

Is there a financial forensic team in place already for this?

Why do we opt to use the words expropriation when we are actually returning stolen land?
