Good news for the Zimbabwean pupils in boarding schools

The Zimbabwean cabinet is reported to have released good news for the pupils who are in the boarding schools.

This is after the government made a decision that the borders would not be made to go back to their homes for the Easter Holidays like what had been anticipated.

There had been worries that it would be costly for the students to return to their homes for the holiday and back again to school after the holiday.

The decision that was made by the Cabinet will not only enable the students to save in terms of transport costs , but it will also prove to be effective in ensuring that there is no possibility of the spread of the Covid-19 pandemic. The decision has been viewed as a preventive measure.

As there are a number of holidays lined up, the government of Zimbabwe is reported to have highlighted the need for limited movements in order to escape the possibility of a third wave of Covid-19 infections.

The announcement is reported to have been availed by Mrs Monica Mutsvangwa, who is the Minister of Information, Publicity and Broadcasting Services.
