China snubs Russia, Minister WALKS OUT of meeting as fury erupts over Taiwan threats

Snubbing both Russia and the United States by leaving before the ASEAN + gala dinner, Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi was photographed exiting the event early.

Prior to the start of the event, Mr. Yi was observed departing in his automobile. The United States Secretary of State Anthony Blinken and the Russian Minister of Foreign Affairs Sergey Lavrov were also expected to be present at the event.

The report comes as tensions between the United States and China, which have been building since Nancy Pelosi's trip to Taiwan, are on the verge of breaking.

It was stated earlier that Japanese Foreign Minister Yoshimasa Hayashi concurred with United States Secretary of State Antony Blinken to harshly criticize China's ballistic missile test on Thursday; he was also planned to attend the ASEAN plus dinner. This information came from an earlier article.

This action can also be interpreted as a slight directed toward Russia. The Russian Minister of Foreign Affairs, Sergey Lavrov, was also scheduled to attend the dinner, and it is likely that he was looking forward to the presence of Russia's de facto ally, China, there.

There will be more later.
