REVEALED|| This Former President Wanted To Privatize ESKOM

As every South African probably knows by now, we're currently experiencing loadshedding blackouts due to ANC's incompetency in managing ESKOM properly over the years.

One of the main reasons why ESKOM is failing at a rapid pace is because the ANC failed to either:

01. Maintain existing infrastructure

02. Adding new power stations on time in response to the growing population

Experts released a report in 1998 during the time when Mandela was President that warned that if ESKOM didn't maintain or add any power stations, trouble was looming in the future in the form of loadshedding blackouts but unfortunately, the ANC didn't listen to experts because they were too busy with corruption activities.

According to Wikipedia of loadshedding, the reason why ESKOM infrastructure wasn't maintained is because at some point, between 1998 and 2007, the ANC considered privatizing ESKOM but those plans never materialized.

During that time of 1998 - 2007, Mandela and Mbeki were heads of States, so between them, one considered selling ESKOM to the private sector.
