Ian khama is the former president of Botswana.
He has currently been in South Africa for the past two weeks. This was after his house was raided is Botswana as he has been accused of stealing firearms.
Ian khama also alleges that the people that hold power in Botswana currently plan to throw him in jail or possibly attempt to kill him.
Ian khama told the City press that he fears for his life if he ever had to go back to Botswana.
He is currently still being investigated for the theft of the firearms which is what leads to his house being raided and leading to him not being completely safe in Botswana.
He has also accused the current president of Botswana of bringing the economy down. It is clear that Botswana is currently facing a power struggle between the previous leaders and the current leaders of the country.
