Elias Sekgobelo "Ace" Magashule is a South African politician and an anti-apartheid activist who is currently on suspension from the position of Secretary General of the African National Congress. ANC secretary general Ace Magashule has suffered yet another blow, as top officials in the ruling party want him to apologise for serving President Cyril Ramaphosa with a suspension letter, allegedly without any authority to do so. He is currently on suspension from the position he holds, this was after he took it upon himself to suspend President Cyril Ramaphosa.

In his suspension letter he wrote for Cyril Ramaphosa, Ace stated that he suspended him for failing to step aside in line with the national executive committee resolution. This, he claimed, was in line with the party’s resolution on members accused of, or reported to be involved in, corrupt practices.

President Cyril Ramaphosa then announced an instruction from The National executive committee for Magashule to apologize to him and the party for the letter he had sent. They are currently waiting for his apology. Initially he was given 48 hours to apologise until further steps are taken.

Ace Magashule doesn't seem like someone who is willing to apologize. 24 hours has passed and he still hasn't said anything about apologizing, and he has also started practicing how to box which got people wondering what he has up in his sleeves. After the video of him boxing went viral, it was concluded that he will fight but not apologize.
