Home Affairs Should Ensure That Deported 150 Zimbabweans from UK Don't End Up in South Africa.

The report making round the internet which states that about 150 Zimbabwean Nationals will be deported back to their home country starting with those who have criminal records. subsequently, those who sort for asylum in the United Kingdom following the harsh leadership of the country's former leader, Mr Robert Mugabe will be repatriated.

The news has created tension already as some of the affected individuals who already have British children are beginning to show displeasure over the decision by the the United Kingdom to return them back to Zimbabwe where there has been economic and infrastructural decay.

Meanwhile, it is very pertinent that the South African Government do not pay less attention to this report as it may pose a serious security and economic threat on our suffering society.

We all know that there has been a constant migration of Zimbabweans into South Africa over the last ten years and the numbers keep on growing as the day goes by. If these affected families are sent back to Zimbabwe, there are possibilities that they may decide not to stay in the country, hence the need to leave for some other country that would give them the UK feeling.

The closest country on that list is South Africa. Our home affairs department must work very hard to ensure that these individuals don't end up in South Africa considering the fact that most of them were deported for various criminal offences.

Zimbabweans are constantly migrating into South Africa and we can't continue to accept individuals already rejected by some other country especially at a time when we are facing our own internal problems.

The South African agencies saddled with the responsibility of immigration should ensure that these repatriated persons do not directly or indirect make their way back into South Africa.
