IOM: Dozens of African migrants thrown overboard by smugglers and feared dead

Many African travelers are dreaded to have passed on Wednesday, after runners threw them over the edge off Djibouti as they were in transit to Yemen, wanting to enter Saudi Arabia to look for some kind of employment. 

Their boat, conveying 200 travelers, left Oulebi in Djibouti at 2 a.m., as per Yvonne Ndege, representative for the UN International Organization for Migration (IOM). 

In any case, survivors said that, after thirty minutes, the runners made a decision about the boat was over-burden and misled at any rate 80 travelers, Ndege said. 

She said five bodies had been recovered up until now. 

Drownings in the waters off Djibouti, ordinarily including travelers from Ethiopia or Somalia attempting to get away from destitution and battle at home, by looking for some kind of employment in Saudi Arabia or the United Arab Emirates, have gotten normal.
