South Africa (South Africa) - Naledi Pandor, South Africa's minister of international relations, has made a statement about how the country is expected to treat foreigners.

She informed the audience that she believes SA's immigration rules should be updated so that people can be the greatest possible versions of themselves while also feeling safe. South Africa is a beautiful place, but it would be pandemonium if the country's borders were opened to let everyone to travel in and out.

Naledi is one of those people who knows just how to get things done; she speaks English so well that you'd assume she was born somewhere else. "It's critical that we have adequate immigration in the country to address all of the concerns that are out there, as well as some of the prejudices that are obvious in some sectors of our society," Naledi Pandor adds. "I was shocked yesterday by what was going on in Burkina Faso, and I'm very concerned that the region doesn't become a hotbed of coups; we need to put the guns down," Pandor added.
