ANC suspends its Pietermaritzburg MP, Dirks

The ANC on Thursday suspended its Pietermaritzburg MP, Mervyn Dirks, following an aftermath over his choice to stop a protest against President Cyril Ramaphosa.

ANC Chief whip, Pemmy Majodina had educated Dirks to pull out a letter he had kept in touch with the National Assembly's Select Committee on Public Accounts (Scopa) mentioning the board of trustees to explore Ramaphosa.

Nonetheless, when Dirks, who in his letter to Scopa asserted that Ramaphosa neglected to illuminate the Zondo Commission about debasement inside the ANC, didn't pulled out his grievance. Majodina then, at that point, sent the ANC MP a letter of suspension on Thursday morning

The ANC likewise pulled out Dirks as the party's individual from Scopa.

On Thursday, Dirks affirmed that he got the letter of suspension from Majodina.
