Africa politics

The ANC allowing non members to contest under its banner to regain public trust will not work

The ANC desires to enable non-members to compete in local and national elections under its name, a move intended to restore public confidence in a party battling a credibility problem to ANC members and black youth in politics in general. "Small minds talk individuals, average minds discuss events, and great minds discuss concepts." Author obscurity

What is fundamentally the job description of politics, namely economic policy unemployment, basic income grant, infrastructure, and industrialisation, is not discussed in the media or by black politicians. Not the policy viewpoints of individuals towards the challenges facing the country, such as what Herman, Steenhuizen, Sisulu, Mabuza, or Ramaphosa stand for or can do to change the direction of government service delivery and economic management, individuals dominate the discourse.

It is incomprehensible that this nation continues to vote (or abstain from voting) to keep the ANC in power. Just seven months ago, the people made a democratic choice that oppresses them, their families, and future generations. Do they even understand service delivery and economic management? They hired dropouts and high school dropouts to run our country. South Africa is in shambles; let it rot.
