Former spokesperson Thabo Meeko takes charge of whippery.
The provincial party ruling caucus met today. Among others is the suspension of Vusi Tshabalala. The nervous temporary committee of the Free State met at its headquarters to quickly close the vacancy.
In its statement the provincial temporary committee says announces suspension of its deployee Vusi Tshabalala as Chief whip.
"The suspension emanates from an allegation of his support to independent candidates for the coming local government elections" read the short statement.
With prompt changes, Oupa Khoabane with gestures of victory said "The ANC has appointed comrade Thabo Meeko to act as the Chief Whip of the ANC until the Disciplinary Committee has disposed of the matter".
The party to lose the metro and Maluti A Phofung welcomes the reshuffling that "of the Executive Council by the Premier". An emphasis of the changes says the statement "is in line with the call by the community of the Free State for improvement in services delivered by different spheres of government".
Noticing the risk of this whole bizarre the short lived provincial committee says "we hope and believe that comrades given responsibility to lead different portfolios will discharge their mandate with utmost responsibility and tenacity".
However, Meeko is not happy to reside temporarily on this position. His ambitions were shattered by his former handler an embattled ANC SG.
