Economic Freedom Fighters leader, Julius Malema will be turning 40 years on the 3rd of March, but what is a birthday really without a "blast from the past" photo.
Malema's childhood photo is a testimony that indeed the red beret leader had travelled a long journey to becoming one of the most influential individuals in South Africa's political arena.
Julius Malema was born on the 3rd of March 1981 in Seshego, Limpopo province.
Malema was a member of the ANC from the age of nine and through determination and his outstanding leadership skills, he went on to serve as the president of the African National Congress Youth League from 2008 to 2012.
The red beret leader was however expelled from ANC in April 2012 at the age of thirty one, but because of his passion about politics, Malema then went on form his own political party in 2013 which is today one of the most effective opposition parties in South Africa.
#MalemaTurns40 is trending on social media and Lesufi Panyaza wished Julius Malema well on turning 40.
