The Zanu-PF in Masvingo was caught red handed fiddling with the elections. This was after the Masvingo Mirror publication monitored a bus that was parked in Masvingo outside the registry offices at night.
The Masvingo Mirror monitored all movents and was able to recognize some individuals dressed in Zanu-PF regalia making their way in and out of the offices.
It is believed that the individuals were having pictures of them taken, then would receive I stand Identity documents and birth certificates, which will later be used in the voters role for the 2023 elections.
This means that these individuals will be able to vote multiple times at various stations leading to the rigging of votes. As per the law an individual is only able to be in possession of 1 birth certificate and 1 identity document, however this process that was caught on camera, shows the ills of the Zimbabwean government.
No action has been taken yet regarding this matter.
