Malema said the ruling party is no longer the same and that they must now let Nelson Mandela rest in peace than use his name in vain.
"The ruling party is full of corrupt people now. It is no longer that of Mandela. Let the old man rest in peace. Only the EFF can deliver the services," said Malema.
Julius Malema said this while addressing a community meeting at Regorogile in Thabazimbi as part of their local government elections campaign.
Like all other political parties, the EFF is promising citizens to do better than what ANC has been doing over the past 27 years.
"We want the municipalities here in Thabazimbi to be in the hands of the EFF, so that we can also teach these white land owners how to live with people.
When we take this municipality, we are going to have a meeting with the whites who own this land to say, if they want a good relationship with us, they must treat our people well," said Malema.
He adds that it is only the Economic Freedom Fighters in South Africa who are not afraid of white people.
Huge promises were also made to the people by Julius Malema who promised to build better houses for the municipality and didn't shy away from slamming ANC members for continue being easily swayed by t-shirts while their leaders are living it large.
"You must look at the houses the EFF is donating. We want to build you those. We don’t want houses where immediately when you step out of your bedroom, you’re already next to the pots.
You can't be bought with a t-shirt. You've been wearing the t-shirt since 1994. What has it done for you? You can't eat a t-shirt and the t-shirt will not give you a job.
