There have been rumblings going about for some time now suggesting that Advocate Raymond Zondo, the Chief Justice of South Africa, is a supporter of Cyril Matamela Ramaphosa, the President of the Republic of South Africa and Chairperson of the African National Congress.
It was believed by a large number of people, but others did not support the motion because the majority of its supporters were from the Economic Freedom Fighters. The National Executive Committee of the African National Congress has now signed on in support of the proposal.
It has been claimed that a member of the African National Congress National Executive Council is challenging Advocate Raymond Zondo, the Chief Justice of the Republic of South Africa, for "pushing Ramaphosa's second term ambition."
Judicial Service Commission member Tonny Yengeni is the person who referred Chief Justice Raymond Zondo to the commission.
"Tony Yengeni is doing the right thing by throwing sand in the gears of the corrupt wheel that has been greased by the biased judge Raymond Zondo. However, astute blacks will place responsibility on Mr. Yengeni rather than the adversary of justice."
