Dr Aaron Motsoaledi criticized Helen Suzman Foundation after they showed support for Zimbabweans ZEP

Last year, minister of the department of Home affairs in the Republic of South Africa, Dr Aaron Motsoaledi on behalf of government had announced that the government of the Republic of South Africa won't renew thousands of Zimbabweans special permits after more than ten years.

Minister gave all those Zimbabweans carrying those special permits a grace period of a whole year to apply for another forms of permits that will grant them opportunity to stay in South Africa.

Helen Suzman Foundation and other civil society decided to challenge that decision which to many South Africans was seen as a betrayal to South Africans who want things to go back to its normality.

Aaron Motsoaledi attacked the Helen Suzman Foundation and civil society.

ZEP issue has been with RSA for more than 10 years and needs final closure - the economic conditions have completely changed when ZEP was introduced- SAns need to enjoy their hard won freedoms- this is to avoid violence Ppl fighting against scarce resources in SA.
