Opposition parties: ANC bid to reopen IEC candidate list will undermine Oct poll.

JOHANNESBURG – Opposition parties have cautioned that should the African National Congress' (ANC) application to have the Electoral Court return the up-and-comer list framework, the uprightness to hold free and reasonable decisions will be terribly sabotaged. 

The ANC will move toward the Electoral Court after it said it had encountered specialized issues on the Independent Electoral Commission's (IEC) site which kept the party from enrolling contender for the impending neighborhood government decisions in October. 

In any case, a few gatherings including the Economic Freedom Fighters and the Democratic Alliance are approaching the IEC to excuse the application.

The Congress of the People (Cope) has additionally disagreed with the application.

We call upon every single ideological group, autonomous applicants, and common society to speak loudly and reject the ANC's application."
