Zimbabwe: Hard Lockdown has been Reinstated for 30 days.

Zimbabwe has reinstated lockdown on saterday 2nd of january which will last for 30 days. This has been done to curb the rise of infections around the country the country's international borders have been closed for both incoming and outgoing trips. This has raised concern to the already suffuring economy of Zimbabwe for which the country depend on South Africa where they aquire essential goods from.

The Beitbridge is the main boarder used to get access into South Africa. The boarder has been flooded by Zim citizens who are trying to avoid the hard hard lockdown that has been reinstated. The visuality of the police at the boarder post have increased rapidly after the arrest of many people who were trying to crosss the Limpopo river illegally into South Africa. This causes a major concern for the South African government from focusing on other issues within their country.

In the past two months zimbabwe has seen a surge of infections from 8373 to 14 084.
