Mashaba argued that Jacob Zuma impoverished black South Africans more that what the apartheid National Party did or ever imagined during the apartheid regime.
He said these utterances while reacting to a tweet which posted by Duduzane Zuma arguing that the country was stolen in 1652.
"South Africa was stolen under a democratic dispensation under your father's administration.
We are not victims. We know our History.Your father impoverished Black South Africans worse then the National Party imagined. Don't insult us," said Mashaba.
The EFF KZN leader however didn't like these utterances made by Action South Africa leader, Herman Mashaba and said it was rubbish.
"Mashaba, you are too old to be writing such rubbish. Honestly Chief. Respect yourself," he said.
It seems that among the Economic Freedom Fighters leaders, there is no consensus on the Zuma matter. The leaders are divided, some feel that the way Jacob Zuma is being treated is pure abuse of power and manipulation of the courts by Cyril Ramaphosa's administration to deal with his political enemies.
Some critics also argue that there is now what can be termed the "Zuma law" and stated that this might be problematic in future as the courts are setting a bad precedence.
Vusi Khoza is one of the Economic Freedom Fighters leaders who has been speaking in support of former president Jacob Zuma in spite of critics arguing that truth be told Jacob Zuma did not do anything meaningful for black people. Zuma's critics said he did nothing, but just shifted the monopoly from whites to the Indian family during his tenure as the president.
Jacob Zuma's supporters however opine that those who hate Zuma should not cloud their judgment on the matter on the ground.
