Looks like the gender based violence in South Africa is increasing instead of decreasing and it will be very bad for years to come as people have no remorse at all.

Almost every day in South Africa, we hear of cases about the gender based violence and today has been one of those days whereby we have witnessed that incident taking place. It is becoming popular now that celebrities are the ones committing such crimes. That leaves people very confused as they take these celebrities as their role models who are supposed to do right.

Today, a very popular person, the late forme President Nelson Mandela's grandson, Mbuso Mandela, made a video where he confessed to abusing a woman, who is his girlfriend. Infact, he did not just only assault her but he went as far as strangled her. Now, that is a double crime, the assualt and the attempted murder. The entertainment commentator, Musa Khawula took to Twitter to share the video of Mbuso in which he was making a confession in it. Unfortunately, he did not get the sympathy that he was expected. Instead he got trolled and the Black twitter users even called on authorities to arrest him. They said that his confession is evidence enough that he committed a crime and he should be behind bars.

They also stated that the grandchildren of Nelson Mandela must use their father's surname instead of using Mandela's name as they are bringing a shame to it all the time. It is not the first time that Mbuso makes such cases as he use to be accused of rape but he got away with it too.

People questioned the authorities on why they have not acted even now despite all this evidence. They said that the law favours others and with Mbuso using the Mandela name, looks like he is protected.
