The SA Social Security Agency (SASSA) Social Relief of Distress (SRD) grant is a temporary grant that was made to help the unemployed.
The Social Relief of Distress (SRD) grant was introduced due to the Covid-19 coronavirus pandemic in South Africa.
For people to qualify for this R350 Grant they had to meet it's requirements, in order to qualify you have to be unemployed, over 18 years of age and receive no financial supporting from the S.A government e.g (NSFAS or UIF and even Social Grant).
The Social Relief of Distress (SRD) grant for the month of February has been approved and many recipients are expecting to be paid on the 1st of March 2021.
The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) still emphasizes that recipients who had their Social Relief of Distress (SRD) grant application outcome declined should appeal using this link [email protected]
Recipients should avoid visiting the Post Office when it's not their pay day, instead people should start by checking their grant status using this URL srd.sassa.gov.za
