In few weeks time, the Independent Electoral Commission of South Africa will be hosting local government elections which is scheduled to take place on the 1st of November 2021.
This then lefr politicians with no choice but to go on ground and face people. Unfortunately for those who are in power, because they now have to face people whom maybe are not happy with the service delivery they've received from government.
During elections wheels do turn. Now it is politicians begging ordinary citizens because theey want votes from them but after votes it will be citizens begging for politicians.
President Cyril Matamela Ramaphosa as the president of the African National Congress (ANC) he's also on the ground campaigning for his party to be victorious. Yesterday he was in Tshwane, they angry mob didn't do him good.
In Ga-Rankuwa ANC President Cyril Ramaphosa was met with anger. Residents demanded that their grievances be met. The crowd kept disrupting the president while he was speaking and the situation was very bad.
