During the funeral of a lady who unfortunately died of Covid-19 after contracting it at her 50th birthday party, Julius Malema blamed the government for being irresponsible. Malema said South Africa is a fatherless country because president Cyril Ramaphosa allowed people to get drunk and fill up trauma units in hospitals, hence hospitals struggled to cope. Now the EFF leader is going to give direction himself. This was announced by EFF's Marshall Dlamini who said the Commander In Chief will on Thursday give direction on behalf of the opposition party on how the country and its people should move in demanding and challenging times such as these.
"Leadership is guiding the people in their most uncomfortable times!" Dlamini said, confirming that the CIC will be addressing the nation on the way forward on Thursday at 12:00.
But Mzansi wants to know what gives Malema the right to give direction to the country." Which country? Which people? Does the EFF have a country which is ruling?" a Twitter user asks.
@Melekodis We saw that 1 dancing, no mast and no social distancing. What direction is he going to give? And remember; according to him we should be level 5 lockdown, what a dumb instruction.
