One of the famous political figures in South Africa today is Panyaza Lesufi. He is a member of the Member Executive Council (MEC). He is known for being vocal about his thoughts and ideas.
Panyaza Lesufi was born on the 4th of September 1968. He was born in Dindela, Edenvale. However, his family relocated to Tembisa after his parents were evicted from their Edenvale home by the group areas act during the era of apartheid. Panyaza Lesufi real is Andrek Lesufi.
From an early age he loved football. His love for the game earned him the nickname "Panyaza". He went on and matriculated from Boitumelong senior secondary school and then enrolled at the University of Natal for his undergraduate degree. He also pursued a Master of Business Administration degree at the same University.
After the election, the politician was named the new MEC of Education for Gauteng. He held the position until May 2019. David Makhura appointed him as the new MEC, for e-Government and Finance in Gauteng. The public was not pleased with the decision. Following, a heartfelt public outcry, the decision to move Panyaza Lesufi back to education was made. Currently he is the MEC for Education in Gauteng.
In his professional life, the politician is best known for his dedication to the establishment of new public institutions from scratch. At first, he was out of touch with the education system in South Africa. He is now up to date with all the education related issues that affect the country. He is always happy to serve the people.
In his capacity as a political figure, Panyaza earns an impressive monthly compensation package for his work. He has access to some of the luxuries that the ordinary South African may not have. Although he is one of the wealthy people in contemporary Gauteng, his net worth is yet to be disclosed to the public.
