In an SABC news interview, the well-known Zimbabwean Politican, Nelson Chamisa has indicated that it is paramount that South Africa assist its neighbours, particularly Zimbabwe, if the issues of immigration it to be solved permanently. Chamisa has pointed out that to fix Zimbabwe; they will need all the help of Zimbabweans.

However, in the very same interview, the Zimbabwean based politican highlighted the fact that if South Africa doesn't assist Zimbabwe, then Zimbabwean people will continue to cross the Beitbridge border to seek greener pastures in South Africa. Nelson Chamisa reiterated that Zimbabwe will need the brotherhood of all African nation to fix itself. And Chamisa emphasised that South Africa should not bury its hands in the soil.

The issue of immigration in the Southern African region has been occupying the attention of many people, because there seems to be a crisis of migration, as more and more people tend to South Africa to seek employment opportunities and more other things which makes life much easier.

It must be remembered that South Africa is currently one of the most industrialized country in the Southern African region. And as such, people from the neighbouring countries are more likely to come to South Africa to seek greener pastures. And It would seem that the only solution to the immigration crisis in the Southern African region rest on other countries being able to provide employment opportunities for their respective citizens.
